Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Legal wording pending review: this policy is written in plain English and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be checked and updated before any product is sold or any sign-up form is added to this website.

1. Who we are

StandardsPack is an independent Australian sole-trader business in Victoria, Australia. Contact: hello@standardspack.com.au. Small businesses may be exempt from parts of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), but we choose to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as good practice.

2. What we collect

3. The free checklist download

You can download the free checklist (PDF) without giving us your name or email address. We don't ask for your details and we don't record who downloads it. The download is counted only as an ordinary page request by our host and analytics.

4. How we use information

We use your information to reply to your enquiries and, if you ask us to, to let you know when our products become available. We don't sell your personal information.

5. Email and the Spam Act

We only send marketing emails to people who have asked for them (given consent). Every marketing email will say that it comes from StandardsPack, include our contact details, and have a simple unsubscribe link that works without logging in. We'll stop within 5 working days of your request. We don't send unsolicited marketing emails or messages.

6. Payments and sign-ups (not available yet)

We don't take payments or run any email sign-up form yet. Before we do, we'll update this policy to name the payment provider (we plan to use Stripe, which handles card details, so we won't see or store your full card number) and the email service provider, and explain how consent and unsubscribing work.

7. Storage and overseas providers

Cloudflare and Google are global services, so information may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or meet our legal and business record-keeping needs.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or make a privacy complaint by emailing hello@standardspack.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
